Sony FCB-EV7520/J 30x LVDS/CVBS Block Camera

The Sony FCB-EV7520/J Zoom Block Camera is a high-quality camera designed to replace the discontinued Sony FCB-EV7520 and FCB-EV7520A models. This camera boasts a 30x optical zoom and a 1/2.8" type "Exmor R" CMOS image sensor with approximately 2.14 million effective pixels, which supports digital FULL HD (high definition) digital video via LVDS signal. The CVBS signal is also an output option.

This camera can operate effectively in lighting levels as low as 0.0015 lx (with the infrared cut filter (ICR) on) in high sensitivity mode. It has features such as VISCA command protocol, Advanced Noise Reduction, Auto ICR filtering, Spherical Privacy Zone Masking, and Wide Dynamic Range.

Advanced noise reduction technology filters the noise from the image for clearer results, especially in low-light conditions. The noise reduction can be selected from five levels to suit various operating environments. The picture quality of the Sony FCB-EV7520/J camera is enhanced dynamically and adaptively on a pixel-by-pixel basis while continuously adapting to the scene within the given dynamic range. A defog feature also allows clearer viewing in outdoor foggy or misty environments.


Clear vision round the clock with Auto ICR and High Sensitivity Mode

The Sony FCB-EV7520/J camera is optimized for changing light conditions, a frequent challenge in round-the-clock security operations. In high sensitivity mode, this camera can operate effectively in lighting levels as low as 0.0015 lx (ICR on & High Sensity on). In low light conditions, the camera adapts by switching to day-to-night mode, removing the IR-cut filter to boost sensitivity for clear pictures in near-darkness.

Spherical privacy zone masking

The Sony FCB-EV7520/J camera allows areas of view to be selectively masked for privacy. Masked areas can be automatically interlocked if the camera pans/tilts/zooms.

One-cable connection for simpler integration

A single cable carries HD video signals, VISCA communication, and power supply to the Sony FCB-EV7520/J camera. Integration flexibility is further supported by 30-pin micro coaxial (digital output) or 24-pin FFC (analog output) interfaces.
